Southeast Valley JVR Basketball boys hosted South Central Calhoun Monday, December 13th. The Jaguars rolled the Titans to earn a team win, 39-16.

Oscar Hanson brought the hustle to lead the Jags offense with 8 points. Brad Pliner and Brady Hanson contributed 6 points apiece. Drake Warland and Evan Zeka chipped in 4 points each. Bryson Axness was fouled on his made shot and went to the charity stripe to collect his “and one”, earning him 3 points. Gauge Jones, Tyler Jondle, and Ethan Ackerson each sank a bucket to add 2 points apiece. Kegan Vangilder hit a buzzer beater in the final second of the game to finish with 2 points for the Jags.

Brad Pliner and Ethan Ackerson controlled the boards for the Jaguars. Pliner and Ackerson ripped down 9 rebounds apiece. The Jaguars worked hard on the defensive end, resulting in every player on the team recording at least one steal. Warland, Jones, and Pliner led the defensive effort with three steals apiece.
