Jaguar JVR Boys End Season with Three Home Games

Southeast Valley JVR boys basketball team hosted East Sac, Friday, February 4th. The Jags won the contest 33-31. Once again the victory was led by a solid defensive effort from the young Jaguars. Scoring for the Jags were Drake Warland 2, Gauge Jones 7, Tyler Jondle 4, Landon Dorsey 6, Cale VanSickle 2, Hane Sorenson 2, Ethan Ackerson 6, and Brad Pliner 4.

Monday, February 7th, Southeast Valley JVR boys basketball took on Greene County at home.  The Jaguars fell to the Rams 46-53. Landon Dorsey dropped 17 points for the Jags.  Cole Lundgren played tough inside, resulting in 8 points. Cale VanSickle and Brad Pliner battled hard to contribute 6 points apiece. Tyler Jondle chipped in 5 points and Gauge Jones added 4 points. 

Thursday, February 10th, the Southeast Valley Jaguar JVR boys basketball team ended their season at home against Clarion-Goldfield-Dows. The Jags held on with solid play on both the offensive and defensive end, to claim the victory in the final minute of regulation, 40-38. Landon Dorsey paced the offense with 11 points. Ethan Ackerson and Tyler Jondle answered the call for the Jaguars, contributing 6 points apiece. Drake Warland hit a three and sank two throws to finish with 5 points. Gauge Jones connected on a shot and hit two throws to finish with 4 points. Oscar Hanson brought the hustle, connecting on two baseline shots, ending the contest with points for the Jags. Bryson Axness hit a momentum shot for the Jaguars to end with 2 points. Cole Lundgren chipped in a bucket to finish with 2 points. The Jaguar JVR finished the season with a 9-10 record.

The coaching staff is proud of the advancements these young Jaguars have made throughout this season. All the positive support that surrounds these players is much appreciated by all who are involved. These young players can not grow and thrive without all the help and positivity that surrounds them. “Thank you boys” for a great season.
