JV Boys 1.24.25

The Junior Varsity Boys' basketball team won 64-5 over Newell-Fonda on Friday, January 24th; improving to 12-0 on the season.


As a team, the Jaguars shot 28 for 50 from the field and assisted on 22 of their 28 made field goals. The team also had a season high 30 rebounds on the night.  


Lincoln Akins paced the Jaguars in scoring with 12 points on 5 for 5 shooting, all in the first half of play. Cornell Lowery, Bryce Harrison, and Hayden Butrick all scored 8 points a piece, combining to shoot 12 for 17 from the floor. Harrison added 4 assists and 2 steals, Butrick also added 4 assists and 2 rebounds, while Lowery added 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Nick Field chipped in with 7 points, 6 rebounds, and one blocked shot. Ethan Tucker scored 6 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. Ian Brunner also matched Tucker with 6 points scored, and added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and one blocked shot. Declan McGuire had 5 points and an assist. Karson Roper and Hayden Greene rounded out the Jaguar scoring with 2 points each. Greene secured 6 total rebounds and Roper earned 3 assists on the night. Kolton Ollinger had an assist and one blocked shot in the win.  


End of Quarter Scores: SV led 23-3, 36-3, 51-3.
