Alta-- The Southeast Valley JV Boys defeated the Warriors of Alta-Aurelia 53-30 Friday night, January 9th.  

Conner Rentz again paced the Jaguars in scoring with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals in the victory. Fellow swingman Dawson Tuel also reached double figures in scoring, adding 10 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Landon Vote chipped in with 8 points and 3 steals. Carver Peterson played well scoring 7 points and had a steal on defense. Colby Peterson and Jacob Paterson both tallied 4 points and 4 rebounds, with Colby P. also earning 3 steals in the game. Paterson also blocked 2 A-A shot attempts in the paint. Declan McGuire, Spencer Peterson, and Linkin Roper all scored 2 points. Spencer P. also contributed with 3 steals and 3 rebounds. Caden Cramer rounded out the statistical categories with 2 rebounds.
