The JV Boys' basketball team outlasted Webster City on Tuesday, January 14th, escaping with a nice 50-44 victory. In a closely contested ball game, the Jaguars used a solid defensive 4th quarter to limit the Lynx to just 6 points scored in the final 7 minutes and sealed the win with five made free throws in crunch time.  

Nick Field paced the Jaguars with 12 points and 7 rebounds, and Hayden Butrick added 9 points and 3 steals. Karson Roper scored 8 points, coming up clutch shooting 6 for 8 from the charity stripe. Roper also added 3 steals. Cornell Lowery chipped in with 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. The duo of Ian Brunner and Bryce Harrison both contributed with 5 points scored, with Harrison adding 3 assists and 3 steals. Lincoln Akins made a deep three point and had three points on the night. Hayden Greene rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
