Boys Basketball for Southeast Valley opened up the 2025-2026 season on Tuesday, December 2nd at home versus the Madrid Tigers. The JV Boys earned a 58-29 victory, outscoring the Tigers in all four quarters of the ball game. After leading by 12 at the half-time intermission, SV enjoyed a huge 3rd quarter to distance themselves a bit more from their Madrid opponent. The Jaguars doubled their lead in the 3rd, outscoring the Tigers 20-8 in the period.

Landon Vote led all scorers with 15 points on 5-9 (3-6 3pt) shooting and 2-2 from the free throw line. The trio of Conner Rentz, Caden Cramer, and Spencer Peterson all contributed with 6 points apiece. Cramer and S. Peterson combined to go 6-7 in the paint. Cramer also led the Jaguars in rebounding, securing 6 caroms off the glass. Rentz played a solid game adding 5 assists and 6 total steals in the contest. The trio of Declan McGuire, Colby Peterson, and Carver Peterson all added 5 points each, with all three knocking down a 3 point basket all in the first half. Dawson Tuel chipped in with 4 points and 1 steal. Rounding out the Jaguars in the scoring column were the trio of Jacob Paterson, Linkin Roper, and Ben Wanat, all contributing with 2 points scored. Wanat also added three rebounds.
