JV Boys Basketball vs. Glidden-Ralston 1.30.25
The JV Boys' basketball team played host to the Glidden-Ralston Wildcats on Thursday evening, securing a 60-24 home victory. The JV record reaches 15-0 on the season with five games remaining in the final two weeks of the season.
The Jaguars jumped out to an early 10 points advantage after the opening quarter, leading 15-5 after the first 7 minutes of the ball game. The Jaguars extended their lead each and every quarter, and rebounded the ball very well in the contest, securing 43 total rebounds in the game.
Ian Brunner, Nick Field, and Cornell Lowery dominated in the paint, scoring 13, 13, and 12 points respectively. Lowery and Brunner both nearly earned double-doubles on the night, with both big men securing 9 rebounds to lead the Jaguars on the glass. Field tallied 6 rebounds. Karson Roper chipped in with 7 points and had 2 assists on the night. Bryce Harrison added 5 points and earned 7 rebounds. Hayden Butrick scored 5 points and 6 rebounds. Lincoln Akins scored 5 points and assisted on 3 made Jaguar baskets. Hayden Greene had 3 offensive rebounds and 2 assists. Ethan Tucker contributed with 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Declan McGuire also played in the contest.

The JV will play both Tuesday and Thursday of next week at home versus SCC and West Bend, before traveling to Sac City on Friday to face the East Sac Raiders for a three game week.
