Gowrie-- The JV Boys for Southeast Valley Basketball earned a compelling 47-28 victory over the Sioux Central Rebels on Friday, January 16th. The Jaguars returned home for the first time since December 16th.  

The Jaguars put together a strong showing all four quarters, extending the lead after each quarter break. The Jaguars led 20-12 at intermission, and outscored the Rebels 27-16 in the 2nd half. 

 Conner Rentz led all scores in the game with 12 points, and led the Jaguars in rebounding with 7 boards and 3 steals. Dawson Tuel reached the double-figure scoring threshold with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Landon Vote scored 9 points (3 for 8 from 3pt), 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Caden Cramer added 6 points and 4 rebounds. Spencer Peterson chipped in with 4 points and 4 rebounds. The trio of Carver Peterson, Jacob Paterson, and Ben Wanat all added 2 points in the game. Paterson also recorded 2 steals on defense. Declan McGuire tallied 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals off the bench. Colby Peterson and Linkin Roper also played in the contest.
