JV Boys vs MNW
Southeast Valley hosted the Cougars from Manson Northwest Webster on Tuesday, December 16, and the Boys JV Jaguars delivered a dominant performance, earning a 60–19 victory.
The Jaguars controlled the game from start to finish with strong defense and balanced scoring. Landon Vote, Dawson Tuel, and Conner Rentz all reached double figures to lead the offensive effort. Vote paced the team with 14 points, while also contributing 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals in an all-around performance.
Tuel was efficient from the floor, shooting 6-of-10 and finishing with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. Rentz added 11 points, along with 3 assists and 2 steals, continuing the Jaguars’ strong backcourt play.
Additional scoring came from Jacob Patterson, Caden Cramer, and Ben Wanat, who each recorded 6 points. Cramer led the team on the glass with 7 rebounds, while Wanat protected the paint with 2 blocked shots. Spencer Peterson rounded out the scoring with 4 points, adding 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
Declan McGuire added 2 assists, Carver Peterson added 2 steals, and Colby Peterson added one assist and one steal in the game.
The Jaguars’ teamwork and defensive pressure were evident throughout the night, finishing the game with 14 assists and 18 steals. Overall, it was a complete team effort as Southeast Valley showcased depth, poise, and intensity in the convincing win.
