The Southeast Valley Boys JVR Basketball team hosted a double header against Algona, Monday January 17th. The Jaguars defeated the Bulldogs in both contests.  The Jags won the first game 43-40. Scorers for the Jaguars were Drake Warland 10, Cale VanSickle 7, Hane Sorenson 7, Brady Hanson 6, Ethan Ackerson 5, Landon Dorsey 4, Gauge Jones 2, Brad Pliner 2. The Jaguars won the second game 39-27. Scorers for the Jags were Oscar Hanson 10, Bryson Axness 9, Xander Dorman 6, Cole Lundgren 6, Tyler Jondle 2, Evan Zeka 2, Kegan Vangilder 2, Jordan Cerwick 2.

Tuesday January 18th, the JVR Boys traveled to Manson. The Jags fell to the Cougars 49-19. Scoring for Jaguars were Drake Warland 6, Cale VanSickle 4, Tyler Jondle 3, Gauge Jones 2, Landon Dorsey 2, Cole Lundgren 2.

Friday January 21st, the JVR Boys took on Newell-Fonda. The Jaguars dropped the road game against the Mustangs 15-42. Scorers for the Jags were Landon Dorsey 5, Cale VanSickle 4, Tyler Jondle 3, Bryson Axness 2, Gauge Jones 1.

The Jaguar JVR Boys Basketball squad travels for the last time this season Monday January 23rd, to Lake City to take on SCC (6:00 pm start). The Jags return home to finish the season with home games beginning, Tuesday January 25th against Pocahontas Area(approx. 5:45 pm start), Friday February 4th against East Sac(approx. 5:45 pm start), Monday February 7th against Greene County(approx. 5:45 pm start), then ending the season Thursday February 10th hosting Clarion-Goldfield-Dows(4:45 pm start).
