The SV Varsity Boys' Basketball team defeated Pocahontas Area by the score of 75-42 on 2/20/26. The game was the second round of the Boys' State Tournament played in Gowrie.

Leading the Jaguars in scoring was Ian Brunner with 12 points, Lincoln Akins 12, Cornell Lowery 11, Bryce Harrison 9, Logan Jaeschke 8, Karson Roper 8, Hayden Greene 6, Hayden Butrick 5, Nick Field 2, and Casey Hanson 2.

The Jaguars led by the score of 37-23 at halftime.

The Jaguars overall record is 20-1 and will play in the third round of the tournament against Clarion-Goldfield on 02/24/26 in Gowrie.
