Southeast Valley girls played West Bend-Mallard at Gowrie on April 9.

West Bend-Mallard and Southeast Valley tied with team scores of 241. Looking at our fifth scorer to break the tie, Southeast Valley won the tie. Southeast Valley's fifth scorer scored a 69 and West Bend-Mallard's fifth scorer socred a 70.

Meet medalist was Avery Weydert from West Bend-Mallard with a 53, and runner-up was Taylor Willardson from Southeast Valley with a 55.

It was a cold and rainy day for our first meet of the season, but the girls pushed through it. They made the best of it and I’m excited to see the progress they make the rest of the season. Thank you to the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course for hosting the meet and keeping it in nice condition for us.
