Southeast Valley girls played in a dual against Pocahontas at Gowrie Municipal Golf Course on April17.

Southeast Valley came in second with a team score of 220 and Pocahontas won with a team score of 210.

Meet medalist was Karah Hayes from Southeast Valley with a 49, and runner-up was Delaney Janssen from Pocahontas with a 51.

The girls played some good golf in the windy conditions today. It wasn't easy to fight the wind, but they worked hard and did their best. We continue to improve, and that's all I can ask for! Pocahontas was a great team to play against. Their coach and players were kind and displayed great sportsmanship. Thank you to the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course for hosting the meet.
