Team Teal:

Southeast Valley Team Teal Takes the win 10-3

Southeast Valley Junior High used two big innings to earn a 10-3 victory over Ogden on Wednesday.

The Jaguars took control in the second inning, scoring five runs to build a 5-1 lead. They added five more runs in the third, highlighted by RBI singles from Payton Smith and Taylor Carlson.

Reagan Cramer earned the win in the circle, pitching all five innings while allowing just one hit and striking out eight.

Smith, Carlson, Tana Harrison, Aubree Richardson, and Cramer each recorded a hit for Southeast Valley. Carlson, Harrison, and Smith each drove in a run as the Jaguars secured the win.


Team Black:

Southeast Valley Team Black Falls to Ogden 11-4

Southeast Valley Junior High was defeated by Ogden 11-4 on Wednesday.

The Jaguars scored three runs in the first inning when Sofie Fritts drove in two runs with a groundout and another run scored on a passed ball.

Kiley Norine started in the circle for Southeast Valley, striking out two over 1⅓ innings. Norine, Brynley Bachel, and Paisley Bintz each recorded a hit for the Jaguars, while Fritts led the team with one RBI.

Team Black:

Southeast Valley JH Falls to Newell-Fonda 15-2

Southeast Valley Junior High dropped a 15-2 decision to Newell-Fonda on Thursday.

The Jaguars got on the board in the first inning when Brynley Bachel singled to drive in a run.

Kiley Norine took the loss in the circle, while Southeast Valley collected three hits on the day. Norine, Bachel, and Avery Akins each recorded a hit, with Bachel leading the team with one RBI.

Elyse Skoglund added two stolen bases, and the Jaguars played error-free defense. Harper Lockner led the team defensively with two fielding chances.


Team Teal:

Southeast Valley JH Falls in Walk-Off Loss to Newell-Fonda

Southeast Valley Junior High came up just short in a 6-5 walk-off loss to Newell-Fonda on Thursday.

The Jaguars jumped out to an early 4-0 lead in the first inning. Kaylee Hicks and Taylor Carlson each drew bases-loaded walks to score runs, while another run came home on a steal of home. Southeast Valley added its final run in the third inning when Payton Smith singled down the right field line.

Despite the loss, Southeast Valley out-hit Newell-Fonda 6-4. Aubree Richardson, Smith, and Reagan Cramer each collected two hits, while Smith led the team with one RBI.

Cramer pitched 4⅓ innings, allowing six runs (three earned) while striking out nine. Richardson and Carlson each added multiple stolen bases for the Jaguars.
