On Thursday, September 25th, the Southeast Valley 7th grade volleyball team traveled to Pocahontas for a game against the Indians. The Jags played with great heart, but came out on the short end of the matches with the Indians taking 4 out of the 6. The scores were as follows: 8-15,10-15, 9-15,15-4, 18-20,17-15. Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, "Pocahontas is very tall and talented. We played hard and gave them a 6 match battle. The girls always give great effort and energy. I know we are getting close to finishing our season on a very high note.” The Jags will next host the Bulldogs from Ogden on Tuesday, September 30th for a 4:15 showdown.
