On Tuesday, September 23rd, the 7th grade Southeast Valley volleyball team traveled to Carroll Kuemper to face the Knights in an afternoon showdown. The Jags put up a battle but fell to the Knights by a final of matches 7-2. The games went as follows: 17-25, 14-25, 10-15, 22-25, 16-25, 10-15, 22-25, 25-20 and 15-9. Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, “Kumper is a good team and it is a tough place to play. We did a lot of really good things today. We will circle the wagons and finish our season strong. I am proud of our effort and energy. I know the girls are working hard.” The Jags have a short turnaround as they travel to Pocohontas for a 4:15 match on September 25th. Go Jags!!
