Southeast Valley to Use HUDL Livestream

Southeast Valley to Use HUDL Livestream

Southeast Valley will be switching to HUDL for its livestreaming platform for the 2026-27 school year. The current plan is to livestream our home events that take place in our high school gym, at our high school athletic complex, and in our middle school gym for free. Currently, we are awaiting the cameras from HUDL which may cause a delay in streaming our home performances to begin the school year. Should I renew my subscription to last year’s streaming service NFHS? That is something that you will need to consider. To make an informed decision you need to know the facts. They are the following:

 Southeast Valley will not be using the NFHS platform for the 2026-27 school year.

 Currently, 10 of the 11 schools in the Twin Lakes Conference are using HUDL to livestream.

 Non-conference opponents have the potential to use the NFHS platform as well as any of

several other options.

 Varsity football opponents (played in districts and not in the Twin Lakes Conference) have the

potential to use the NFHS platform as well as any of several other options.

With these changes, families and fans will have several factors to consider when deciding whether to renew an NFHS subscription. Southeast Valley’s home events are expected to be available through HUDL at no cost once the new equipment is installed and operating. However, coverage for away events will depend on the streaming service used by the host school, and there may be situations where NFHS or another platform is the only option for viewing a particular event. Fans may want to consider the teams and events they plan to follow before deciding which, if any, streaming subscriptions best fit their needs.
