SV JH Cross Country Start the Season

Southeast Valley Middle School has good numbers when it comes to the number of athletes,(24) and also times. They ran in their first meet last Thursday, Sept. 17. The boys dominated the day scoring 22 points for first place. Second went to West Central Valley with 55, with Greene County in third place with 63 points. Leading the Jags was August Akins, finishing in 2nd place in 13:17. Not far behind was Griffin Vote in 5th, 13:52. Ethan Martin finished in 7th with 14:38 followed by Kasen Loeffler in 9th with 14:48. Jaxon Wilson was 12 (15:31), Jackson Bintz 13 (15:40), Andrew Wanat 14 (16:44), Brock Peterson 16 (17:00), Grant Peterson 18 (17:12), Eli Rude 22 (17:41), Max Judson 23 (18:01), Turner Ahlers 25 (18:38), Jake Wicklein 27 (19:15), Jace Skoglund 31 (19:48), Mason Newell 32 (20:31), Xavier Cunigan 33 (20:35), Joseph Ennenga 36 (21:56), and Dominik Paterson 37 (24:18). The girls were not represented at the meet due to a volleyball conflict. SVJH will run Monday next week at Sheldon Park in Humboldt.
