Jaguar Girls' Track Update
On May 5th, 2025, the Southeast Valley junior high girls track team traveled to Rockwell City to compete in the SCC relays. The Jags had a good night scoring 131 points and coming away with a 2nd place finish.
Highlights of the track meet were as follows:
100 meter dash: Elcie Johnson-3rd place
200 meter dash-Karley Rae Smith-4th place, Kelsey Hayes-5th place
400 meter dash-Farrah Tuel-2nd place, Karley Rae Smith-4th place
800 meter run-Charlotte Blair-2nd place, Tenley Kastendieck-6th place
1500 meter run-Goldie Davis-1st place
100 meter hurdles-Madelynn Miller-6th place
200 meter hurdles-Farrah Tuel-3rd place, Bella Smith-6th place
4x100 meter relay-Madelynn Miller, Tana Harrison, Claire Peterson, Elcie Johnson-1st place

Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, “We had a great night tonight. Winning 3 relays, the 1500 run and long jump always makes for a great meet. We have a few things we need to work on to get to the end of the season. The coaches are all very proud of the girls and how hard they are working.” The Jags will next be in action on Friday, May 9th as they travel to Manson to compete in their track meet. Great Job Jags!!
