SV JH Girls' Track & Field Win MNW Relays
On Friday, May 9th, the Southeast Valley Girls track team traveled to Manson for the Manson Northwest Webster relays. The Jags came home with a first place finish.
Highlights of the meet are as follows:
High Jump: Goldie Davis (3rd place)
Discus: Hanna Wicklein (2nd place), Jaylon Zika (3rd place)
Shot Put: Macy Mundt (3rd place), Hanna Wicklein (5th place)
Long Jump: Madelynn Miller (2nd place)
4X800: Bella Dorsey, Jaylee Slinker, Charlie Dorsey, Alyssa Luhmann (4th place)
4X100 shuttle hurdle:Kinslie Nolte, Kelsey Hayes, Bella Smith, Claire Peterson (5th place)
100 meter dash: Madelynn Miller (4th place)
Distance Medley: Tana Harrison, Bella Smith, Jaylon Zika, Tenley Kastendieck (3rd place)
400 meter dash: Farrah Tuel (3rd place), Karley Rae Smith (4th place)
4x200 relay: Lexi Fiala, Kensley Cox, Kelsey Hayes, Tana Harrison (6th place)
1500 meter run: Goldie Davis (2nd)
200 meter dash: Karley Rae Smith (1st), Kelsey Hayes (6th)
Sprint Medley: Madelynn Miller, Claire Peterson, Elcie Johnson, Kensley Cox (2nd place)
200 meter hurdles: Farrah Tuel (7th place)
800 meter run: Charlotte Blair(2nd place and new school record), Tenley Kastendieck(5th place)
4x100 relay:Maddelynn Miller, Tana Harrison, Claire Peterson, Elcie Johnson(1st place)
4x400: Jaylon Zika, Farrah Tuel, Goldie Davis, Charlotte Blair (3rd place and a new school record)
Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, “This was a great win for our girls. They have worked hard all season and it's nice to see them get rewarded for it.
