On Tuesday, April 22nd, the Southeast Valley Junior High track team participated in the West Central Valley Coed Track meet. The Jaguars scored a team total of 97 points and finished 2nd out of 8 teams.  

Highlights of the meet are as follows:

100 meter dash: Elcie Johnson (4th place), Kelsey Hayes (6th place)

200 meter dash: Karley Rae Smith (2nd place), Kelsey Hayes (6th place)

400 meter dash: Karley Rae Smith (5th place), Farrah Tuel(6th place)

1500 meter run: Goldie Davis (4th place)

110 meter hurdles: Madelynn Miller (4th place)

Long Jump: Karley Rae Smith (1st place), Madelynn Miller (2nd place)

Shot put: Macy Mundt (1st place), Hanna Wickein (3rd place)

Discus: Hanna Wicklein (3rd place)

4x100 relay :(1st place) Clair Peterson, Elcie Johnson, Madelynn Miller, Tana Harrison

4x200 relay :(5th place) Kelsey Hayes, Tana Harrison, Lexi Fiala, Kensley Cox

4x400 relay: (2nd place) Charlotte Blair, Jaylon Zika, Goldie Davis, Farrah Tuel

4x800 relay :(5th place) Charlotte Blair, Alyssa Luhman, Tenley Kastendieck, Goldie Davis

Sprint Medley relay: (3rd place) Madelynn Miller, Claire Peterson, Elcie Johnson, Farrah Tuel

Coach McCloud is quoted as saying, “The girls worked really hard tonight. It was our first meet of the season and we were able to do some great things. Hopefully we can continue to get better and see 

what our season can turn out to be.”

The Jags will next be in action on Monday, April 28th when they will host a coed meet in Burnside. Great job lady Jags!
