The SV Jaguars faced a tough challenge against Newell-Fonda, falling 12-2 despite battling throughout the contest.

SV showed determination from the first pitch and continued to compete against a strong Newell-Fonda squad. The Jaguars found success on the bases and were able to push across two runs during the game.

Jocelyn Wheeling and Aubree Richardson accounted for SV’s runs, each crossing the plate to provide the Jaguars’ offense. At the plate, Dani Bethel and Devon Olson each collected singles, helping SV generate scoring opportunities and keep pressure on the Newell-Fonda defense.

While Newell-Fonda was able to string together hits and build momentum offensively, the Jaguars continued to fight and worked to limit additional damage in the field. The team stayed engaged throughout the game and never stopped competing despite the deficit.

Although the final score did not go their way, the Jaguars showed resilience and effort against a talented opponent. SV will look to build on the positives from the game and continue improving as the season moves forward.
