It is always great having events make it to state but it is also exciting to see what all the other girls accomplished this season and what we all have to look forward to if they all stay out. The younger girls had a tremendous season and had a lot of success and improved throughout the entire season to get where they are today.
As a team they won a meet and had 3 runner ups this season and this was huge because of all the injuries the team dealt with throughout the year.
Coaches want to wish the Seniors the best of luck.
Camryn Lane who only got to run toward the end of the season had a great career and was able to compete at State over the years. She had an injury and fought back and was able to get on the track to finish her Senior year.
Katie Field who has put on as many miles as anyone to go through SV because she ran the 3000 every meet for four years. That is a lot of laps.
Devyn Wilson who was having a great Senior year until an injury sidelined her the last part of the season but she came to every meet and practice to Cheer on her teammates.
Madelyn Farely who still gets to run 2 events at State had a great senior year.
The girls will compete next week at State. Scheduled to be announced ASAP
