The girls track team competed at the MNW Coed relays where there were 14 teams. The girls had a great night and were able to place 7th in this meet.  

The girls 4x200 last night placed 1st with Devynn Wilson, Addi Lundquist, Emily Wilson and Avrie Hanson. Avrie Hanson got the baton in 5th and had the best run of her life and crossed the line with a photo finish and pulled off the win.

The 4x100 placed 2nd and has the second fastest time in school history with Avrie Hanson, Mae Searcy, Madelyn Farley and Sage Lane. The girls are really hoping to get that school record.

The shuttle hurdle placed 2nd with Mae Searcy, Madelyn Farley, Madelynn Miller and Sage Lane. This group has continued to work and improve their times every meet.

The 4x800 placed 3rd with Charlotte Blair, Tenley Kastendieck, Emilty Wislon and Ruby Stimpson. We have not had many points over the last few years from a lack of long distance runners so this group has been a bit of a surprise and have placed in the top 3 at every meet this season.

Madelyn Miller had a big night in the long jump by placing 3rd out of 20 plus girls and is now 3rd all time in school history.

A lot of other events placed in the top 8 and got us some team points. Coaches are very happy how hard all the girls are working and seeing them improve every day. That is the goal to keep improving every day and they are seeing those results.
