East Sac County Uses Early Surge to Defeat Southeast Valley

Gowrie, Iowa — East Sac County built an early lead and maintained control throughout the game on its way to a 52–19 win over the Southeast Valley Jaguars in girls basketball action.

The Raiders opened the contest with a strong first quarter, taking a 20–2 advantage. East Sac County continued to apply pressure in the second period, extending its lead to 32–4 at halftime.

Southeast Valley showed improvement after the break, scoring 11 points in the third quarter and adding four more in the fourth. However, East Sac County stayed consistent offensively, leading 45–15 after three quarters before closing out the victory.

Sage Lane led the Jaguars with 7 points and 9 rebounds, while Delaney Sittig added 4 points and 5 rebounds. Karley Rae Smith contributed 3 points and 2 steals, and Charlotte Blair finished with 3 points and 3 steals. Macey Mundt chipped in 2 points, and Addison Lundquist pulled down 5 rebounds for Southeast Valley.
