Poky beats Southeast Valley

Gowrie, Iowa - Pocahontas built an early lead and went on to defeat the Southeast Valley Jaguars 79–15 in girls basketball action. Pocahontas jumped out to a 30–3 advantage after the first quarter and extended the lead to 61–3 by halftime. The Indians continued to control the pace in the second half, leading 71–9 after three quarters before closing out the win.

Southeast Valley was led in scoring by Sage Lane with six points and 7 rebounds. Mekenah Osbourne added four points, while Karley Rae Smith and Charlotte Blair each scored two. Addison Lundquist rounded out the scoring with one point as the Jaguars continued to compete against a tough Pocahontas squad.

GTRA beats SV

Gowrie, Iowa - The GTRA Titans pulled away early to a 79–19 victory over the Southeast Valley Jaguars in girls basketball action. GTRA set the tone in the opening quarter, jumping out to a 24–4 lead and extending the margin to 51–8 by halftime. The Titans continued their strong play through three quarters, leading 71–18, before closing out the win.

Southeast Valley was led offensively by Sage Lane with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Mekenah Osbourne added five points, while Charlotte Blair chipped in two. The Jaguars showed continued effort throughout the contest despite facing a fast-paced and efficient GTRA squad.
