Rockwell City, Iowa - Southeast Valley (2-3) traveled to

South Central Calhoun (4-1) for a non-conference match up on Tuesday, December 6th. The Titans outscored the Jaguars 32-17 and held the lead throughout to beat Southeast Valley 44-64.   

The team dropped in 7 3-pointers, tallied 11 assists and 6 steals for the night. Breck Mills led Southeast Valley with 19 points 5 rebounds and 3 assists, Kenna Scott 10 points and 7 rebounds, Madison Lane 6 points 4 rebounds 3 steals, Jordyn Rowley 4 points, Alex Kitchen 3 points, and Alexis Peterson 2 points.

Tuesday, December 7th

Varsity

Manson, Iowa - Southeast Valley (2-4) fell to Manson Northwest Webster (3-3). The Jaguars were down by 7 at half time before the Cougars lengthened the lead out scoring the Jaguars 12-5 in the third quarter. The Jaguars fell to the Cougars 40-52 despite a late 4th quarter run.  

The team shot 35% from the field and 36% from the 3 point arc.

Alex Kitchen led the Jaguars with 17 points 7 rebounds, Kenna Scott 12 points 9 rebounds 3 assists 2 steals, Madison Lane 3 points, Alexis Peterson 3 points, Halle Steck 3 points, Jordyn Rowley 2 points 5 rebound 2 assists and 1 steal.       

The team shot 40% from the field and 33% from the three point arc while gathering 9 steals for the night.,    

“We really competed evenly with Manson. They just outshot us from the freethrow line. We finished 6/11 and Manson was 18/21. No matter what each athlete's job is on the team we truly had several that stepped up. ” Coach Mills

The Jaguars play Monday, December 19 as the Varsity travels to Storm Lake St. Mary’s . Tip off for the varsity contest is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 20th the Jags host East Sac for a JV/V contest JV tip off is set for 4:30 p.m. and Varsity at 6 p.m.
