The Jaguar Wrestling Team was back in Gowrie to defend their home mat on Thursday, January 15th against the Wolverines of West Bend-Mallard, the Rebels of Sioux Central and the Royals of Marcus-Meridan-Cleghorn/Remson-Union.

The young Jaguar line-up was able to capitalize on match-ups throughout every dual capturing convincing victories against all 3 teams on the night. The night was a great culmination of hard work in the practice room transferring to the gym, allowing the young men to put themselves in the position to be incredibly successful. With the great team success we had, we also had great individual success with the following wrestlers going 3-0 on the evening: Josiah Hefley, Wyatt Blair, Keelan Wellman, Colton Haug. Winning 2 matches on the night were: Kasen Loeffler, Caden Milham, Colin Johnson, Blaise Echevarria, Kyle Eastman and Korbin Spangler.

It was a wonderful night for the team and all involved as we work to improve with our eyes on the Twin Lakes Conference Tournament and the postseason on the horizon. Go Jags!
