On Monday, December 8th, the Southeast Valley junior high girls basketball team hosted the Cougars from Manson Northwest Webster. The 7th graders kicked off the night with a convincing 33-7 win. The leading scorer for the Jags was Taylor Carlson with 18 points. Reagan Cramer contributed 9 points, while Anastasia Young, Lydia Rude and Avery Kitchen all had 2 points for the Jags win.

The 8th grade finished the night with a 50-25 win over the Cougars. The Jags were led in scoring by Tana Harrison’s 16 points. Aubree Richardson had 11 points, Kaylee Hicks had 10 points, Kelsey Hayes contributed 6 points, Aleeyah Hoefer had 4 points, Leah Fiala had 3 points and Lauren Bintz chipped in with 2 points.

Both 7th and 8th grade teams raise their season record to 2-3. The Jags will next be in action as they travel on Thursday to Lake View to take on the East Sac Raiders. Great job on the winning girls!! Keep up the good work. Go Jags.
