JH Jag Girls' Basketball vs Woodward-Granger

The Southeast Valley Jaguars took on the Woodward-Granger Hawks on December 15 in Burnside, Iowa, in a hard-fought 7th grade girls basketball matchup. Woodward-Granger came out strong and built a steady lead, ultimately winning the game 38–24. Despite the loss, the Jaguars showed determination and teamwork throughout all four quarters, continuing to battle on both ends of the court.

Averie Kitchen led Southeast Valley in scoring with 10 points, providing consistent offense and energy for her team. Defensively, Taylor Carlson and Reagan Cramer stood out with solid defensive play, working hard to challenge shots and limit scoring opportunities. The Jaguars will look to build on their effort as they continue their season against SCC.  

The Southeast Valley 8th grade girls basketball team faced Woodward-Granger on December 15 in Burnside, Iowa. Woodward-Granger controlled the pace early and went on to earn a 40–21 victory. Despite the final score, Southeast Valley continued to compete throughout the game, showing effort and resilience against a tough opponent.

Tana Harrison led Southeast Valley with 8 points, providing a spark on offense. On the defensive end, Aubree Richardson, Kaylee Hicks, and Kensley Cox worked hard to pressure the ball and challenge shots, helping slow Woodward-Granger’s attack at key moments. Southeast Valley will look to take the positives from the game as they prepare for their upcoming contest against the Titans of SCC.
