SV Boys Golf returned to action on Tuesday, April 14, competing at Lakeside Municipal Golf Course north of Fort Dodge where they faced St. Edmond in a dual meet. Played on the challenging back nine, SV came up short, falling 176–190.

Dawson Tuel led the way for SV with the team’s low round of 45. Declan McGuire and Linkin Roper each posted rounds of 48, while Karson Roper followed with a 49. Benson Konecne finished with a 57 and Hayden Greene rounded out the varsity scores with a 59.

At the junior varsity level, Colton Haug turned in a solid round of 48 to lead SV. Blaine Peterson and Ashtyn Owens each shot 54, while Brodie Lavine completed the JV scoring with a 59.

The meet featured a demanding stretch of holes on the back nine along with quicker greens that provided a new challenge for SV, offering valuable experience as the team continues to adjust and improve early in the season.  The varsity squad will have another opportunity to compete at Lakeside later this year when they return for the Twin Lakes Confrenece Tournament on May 4.
