On Monday, April 13, the SV Boys Golf team travelled to Twin Lakes Golf Club for an early season TLC Quad. The meet featured strong competition among conference teams, with SCC emerging as the top performer on the day. SCC was the host for the meet and secured first place with an impressive team score of 147, led by Caleb Gaffney and his 35 gold-medal round. 

Newell-Fonda followed in second place with a score of 162, while SV claimed third with a 170. Sioux Central rounded out the field, finishing fourth with a score of 184.

SV’s varsity effort was led by Karson Roper and Benson Konecne, who each carded rounds of 41. Declan McGuire followed closely with a 42, while Hayden Greene completed the scoring lineup with a 46. Additional rounds for SV included Linkin Roper with a 47 and Dawson Tuel with a 48.

At the junior varsity level, SV posted a team score of 226, led by Colton Haug with a round of 46. Blaine Peterson shot a 55, Ashtyn Owens a 57, and Brodie Lavine a 68. Sioux Central's JV shot 211. SCC and NF did not fill out a JV team.
