SV Boys Golf competed in the 2^nd annual Ram Invitational on Saturday, April 12th; having the opportunity to play in an 18 hole meet versus a total of seven local teams.

 The 18-hole event was divided up and played on two nine-hole courses. The Jaguars started out golfing at Jefferson Community, and the second nine holes at The Hill golf course, just west of Grand Junction.

The Jaguars finished 5th out of 7 teams, with a score of 354. The Jaguars were able to cut 9 strokes from last years showing in the same event. 

Team results: Roland-Story 337, Coon-Rapids 346, SCC 347, Greene County 349, SV 354, Ogden 363, and Grand View Christian 368. Each team in the event played last year, with many of the teams experiencing improved scores compared to the first year participating. 

Individual scores: Will Comp 84, Karson Roper 85, Brady Hanson 90, Hayden Butrick 95, Linkin Roper 99, Drew Temple 103.

Comp’s 84 was top 5 in the event, earning him a 5^th place medal. Karson Roper tied for sixth. 

Up next for the Jaguars: TLC Quad at Lake City on 4/14; Home Dual (Gowrie) versus St. Edmond’s on 4/15; and a Home JV/V TLC Dual versus PAC on 4/17.
