Congratulations to Travis Nuss who has coached both cross country and track & field for 25 years. Commemorating this accomplishment he received a plaque from the Iowa Association of Track Coaches at the State Track meet this past weekend. 

Coach Nuss started his tenure as the head cross country coach at Prairie Valley High School and continued in that position when the school became Southeast Valley. On the track he started as an assistant coach at Prairie Valley under Coach Jason Klingensmith. He took on head coaching duties during his second year with the district.

Coach Nuss has had numerous state qualifiers in both sports. His impact can be seen throughout the community as many continue with running well after high school and as many of his athletes continue to make their own meaningful impacts on their communities.
