The Southeast Valley Freshman traveled to Sioux Rapids, Monday, October,13th. It was an eight team tournament with teams from Spencer, Sioux Central, MMC-RU, Ridge View, Pocahontas Area, South O'Brien, and OABCIG participated.  

The girls ended up 2nd overall and going 3-1 for the day. They won their Pool by beating Spencer by the scores of 21-11 and 21-8. In the second match we split with Ridge View by the scores of 23-25 and 25-13. The third match the girls defeated Pocahontas Area by the scores of 21-13 and 21-10. 

In the Championship game the Jaguars were defeated by MMC-RU by the scores of 17-21 and 6-21. Jags earned runner-up.  

Leading the team with kills for the day were Bella Smith with 18, Jaylon Zika with 13, Tenley Kastendieck with 10, followed by Charlotte Blair with 5, and Madelyn Miller with 3.

Ace serves for the day were Charlotte Blair with 7, Goldie Davis having 6, Farrah Tuel had 5, Bella Smith had 4 and Jaylon Zika and Tenely Kastendieck with 3 each. 

Zika has 3 solo blocks for the night. Farrah Tuel had 17 assists and Charlotte Blair had 15.

The SV 9th grade team consisted of Charlotte Blair, Farrah Tuel, Bella Smith, Tenley Kastendieck, Bella Dorsey, Goldie Davis, Jaylon Zika, Molly VanSickle, Brylee Alliger, Madelyn Miller and Alyssa Luhmann.
