JVR VB Goes 3-0

Lake City, IA ~ The junior varsity reserve went 3-0 on Monday, September 8th at Lake City. The girls opened the night facing South Central Calhoun and defeated them by the scores of 25-22 and 25-16. Perfect behind the serving line was Farrah Tuel, Goldie Davis, Charlotte Blair, and Peyton Lockner. Bella Smith had four ace serves followed by Tuel with three. Brylee Alliger had one ace serve. Jacey Carlson, and Jaylon Zika each had two. Jaylon Zika had four kills while Farrah Tuel had three. Others contributing kills for the team were Jacey Carlson, Bella Smith, Goldie Davis, and Emily Wilson.  


In the second match the girls started off slow but came back to beat Pocahontas Area by the scores of 13-25, 25-10, and 15-8. Tuel and Blair were perfect behind the serving line. Addi Lundquist had eight ace serves while Farrah Tuel had three. Other players with ace serves were Jacey Carlson, Bella Smith, Jaylon Zika, Charlotte Blair, and Peyton Lockner.  


The final match was against Emmetsburg and defeated the E-Hawks by the scores of 25-17 and 25-10. Perfect behind the serving line was Jaylon Zika, Charlotte Blair, Peyton Lockner, and Tenley Kastendieck. Blair led the team with five ace serves. Other players with ace serves were Farrah Tuel, Jaylon Zika, Peyton Lockner, and Addi Lundquist.  


The JVR team consist of Brylee Alliger, Charlotte Blair, Jacey Carlson, Bella Dorsey, Shayden Hefley, Tenley Kastendieck, Peyton Lockner, Alyssa Luhmann, Addison Lundquist,Madelyn Miller, Bella Smith, Farrah Tuel, Molly VanSickle, Emily Wilson, and Jaylon Zika.  The girls improved to 6-2 overall.
