JV Volleyball Goes 2-2 @ Emmetsburg

The junior varsity volleyball team traveled to Emmetsburg on Monday, September 22nd and played four matches. They opened the night against East Sac County and lost by the scores of 12-21 and 18-21. Perfect behind the serving line was Kalli Thompson with two aces. Trinity Anderson, Farrah Tuel, and Mylee Swanson. Sage Lane led the team with three kills. In the second match the girls defeated South Central Calhoun by the scores of 21-11 and 21-12. Perfect behind the serving line was Mae Searcy with three aces. Trinity Anderson and Goldie Davis both had an ace serve. Mylee Swanson had three ace serves as well while Farrah Tuel had two ace serves. The girls only missed one serve during that match. Trinity Anderson had four kills while Sage Lane had three. Others contributing kills were Kalli Thompson, Goldie Davis, Mae Searcy, Reagan Pearson, and Addi Larson.


In the third match, the girls lost to Emmetsburg by the scores of 19-21 and 18-21. Perfect behind the serving line were Kalli Thompson, Trinity Anderson, Goldie Davis, and Mylee Swanson. Mae Searcy had two ace serves. Anderson and Sage Lane led the team with four kills each. In the final match of the night, the girls defeated West Bend-Mallard by the scores of 21-18 and 21-14. Only two girls were perfect behind the serving line which was Trinity Anderson and Mylee Swanson. Goldie Davis and Sage Lane led the team with six kills each. Others contributing with kills were Mae Searcy, Trinity Anderson, and Jaylon Zika.  


The team is 10-6 overall. They face St. Mary’s of Storm Lake on Tuesday, September 23rd.
