The Southeast Valley JVR Teal team had an impressive showing at their home JVR tournament on Saturday, October 3, finishing the day as tournament runner-up.

Playing in front of their home crowd, Teal battled throughout the tournament and put together a strong overall performance, winning seven sets on the day while dropping just three sets.

The team continued to compete hard through each round, earning their way into the championship match. In the final round, Teal faced Carroll-Kuemper, ultimately falling short in the championship match.

Despite the final loss, the second-place finish was a strong accomplishment for the JVR Teal team. The girls showed determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the day, continuing to fight point after point and representing Southeast Valley well on their home court.

Congratulations to JVR Teal on a fantastic second-place finish and a great day of volleyball!
