Gowrie, IA ~ The Jaguars junior varsity squad defeated the Warriors of Alta-Aurelia on Thursday night by the scores of 21-19 and 21-13. The team served at 86% efficiency with Trinity Anderson and Kalli Thompson perfect behind the serving line. Kayla Field, Mae Searcy, Mylee Swanson, and Kalli Thompson each had an ace serve. Liberty Suchan and Leah Mills led the team with attacks with each having one kill each. Searcy had a solo block. The team played well and were scrappy digging up the ball from the Warriors. The team finished the week going 6-1 overall.  

JVR Comes From Behind for a Win

The junior varsity team came from behind to defeat the Warriors in three sets. The girls lost the first game by the score of 16 - 21. The big problem in the first game was serving. The team served under 70%. In the second game, the team was over 90% with serving and defeated the Warriors by the score of 21- 17  . In the third game, the young ladies fell behind, but came back to defeat the Warriors by 15-12.
