Jaguars Defeat Titians

Burnside- The 8th Grade Boys played their final home game before the

break and claimed a 61-12 victory over South Central Calhoun. The Jags

jumped out to a 20-5 first quarter lead. Southeast Valley went into

halftime up 41-10 over the visiting Titans. We wanted to keep playing

with intensity and mix up our defenses and run different offensives in

the second half. The Jags continued to play team basketball and held a

53-10 through three quarters of action. At the final buzzer the Jags

finished the first half of the season with a 62-12 victory over SCC.

Scoring for the Jaguars include: Bennett Nolte (10), Griffin Vote

(10), Nicholas Vogel (3), Reece Carlson (10), Tristan Hanson (10),

Wyatt Muench (11), and Grant Ott (7). Also contributing for the

Jaguars include: Brock Peterson, Avery Waugh, Grant Peterson, Dallas

Brandel, Bryson Christian, Nolan Albright, Corbin Eslick, and Jax

Hindt. The Jaguars will be back in action on January 6th in Pocahontas

against Pocahontas Area.
