Southeast Valley Cruises Past Eagle Grove, 65–4

The Southeast Valley 7th grade boys basketball team delivered a dominant performance Friday night, defeating Eagle Grove 65–4. The Jaguars showcased balanced scoring and relentless defense throughout the contest.

Nicco Jondle and Rocco Jondle led the way with 14 points each, while Cam Johnson added 12. Tripp Roper chipped in 8 points, Dawson Greene scored 5, and Nikota Lyons contributed 4. Cam Nelson and Cooper Lane each finished with 2 points, and Jaxson Halsrud rounded out the scoring with 3.

Also contributing to the contest were VinJuan Atcitty, Gabe Steck, Jaxyn Milham, Trayson Gutshall, Braxton Pierce, and Roman Pace, whose hustle and teamwork helped fuel the Jaguars’ win.

Southeast Valley’s offense flowed with precision, highlighted by several scoring opportunities on fast break points. On the defensive end, the Jaguars held Eagle Grove to just four points, a testament to their intensity and teamwork. Coach Steinhoff praised the effort across the roster, noting that every player contributed to the decisive victory.

With this win, Southeast Valley sets a strong tone for the season. The Jaguars will look to keep their momentum rolling as they host the Madrid Tigers on Tuesday, November 25, before heading into the holiday break.
