Ogden- The 8th Grade Boys took the short bus ride south and picked up a 58-27 victory over the Ogden Bulldogs. The Jags took an early lead of 17-10 after the first quarter of action. The defense locked down in the second quarter and the Jaguars held a 36-13 advantage going into halftime. We really adjusted well between quarters and adjusted our offense to their 1-3-1 zone defense. We wanted to attack with our high low sets. Defensively we wanted to key on boxing out our guy and not allowing second chance opportunities. In the third quarter the Jags were able to maintain their lead of 52-20 heading into the final quarter. The Jaguars rotated different combinations in the final quarter and came away with a 58-27 hard earned road victory. Scoring for the Jaguars include: Bennett Nolte (9), Griffin Vote (4), Nicholas Vogel (6), Reece Carlson (8), Nolan Albright (2), Wyatt Muench (19), Grant Ott (4), and Jax Hindt (6). Also contributing for the Jaguars include: Brock Peterson, Avery Waugh, Grant Peterson, Dallas Brandel, Bryson Christian, Tristan Hanson and Corbin Eslick. The Jaguars will be back in action on December 8th in Barnum against Manson Northwest Webster.
