Jag Baseball at Clarion-Goldfield Tournament

A long day for the Jag baseball started in the first game of the day against Aplington-parkersburg. Nick Field took the mound and had a good performance. Giving up two runs though the 5th inning but in the sixth the Falcons took the lead and never gave it up. Still Field looked good on the mound allowing his defense to work. Evan Bintz would relieve Nick in the 6th. Kolton Ollinger had two hits. A single and a double which scored two runners. Casey Hanson and Logan Jaeschke would chip in a hit. Karson Roper, Landon Vote and Colin Johnson would each single. Colin scoring a runner on his lone hit. It was the Jags game in the 5th with a 5-3 lead but a 4 run 7th inning hurt the Jags come back chances.

Conner threw well but reaching a high pitch count have the ball to Kolton Ollinger who gave the ball to Dawson Tuel who finished the game. Casey Hanson had an inside the park home run. Kolton Ollinger added three hits in the game. Karson Roper singled with an RBI and two hit by pitches.
