JVR @ Humboldt L 10-1 (2-3-1) 15-4 W (3-3-1)

The JVR team split with the Humboldt Wildcats JVR squad with two very different games. The first one started on a sour note with pitcher Carver Peterson getting hit on the first pitch of the game. After that the game was tough to get going for the Jags. Caden Cramer and Dawson Tuel had two big hits in the contest with back to back doubles. Dawson would score Cramer. Colby Peterson would have the other hit of the game with a single. Caden Milham would pitch for the Jags and facing a tough opponent the freshmen hard thrower would finish with two strikeouts and had an impressive third inning retiring the side.

The second game of the double header saw the Jags explode for fifteen runs. Kolton Ollinger and Colby Peterson would add two singles, scoring one run each. Spencer Peterson added a double eventually scoring. Jake Paterson showed a lot of patience at the plate earning three walks and scoring every time. Ayden Bintz would single while Dawson Tuel continued to stay hot, hitting a double. Caden Cramer would hit two singles and Conner Rentz and Caden Milham would walk and score. On the mound Caden would throw a gem, striking out four batters and allowing his defense to make plays. Dawson Tuel continues to shine at third as he keeps making plays and helping his pitcher out. Colton Haug would pitch the last inning to finish the game for the young Jag team.
